Neuropsychological Testing

Assessing cognitive & emotional function.

A neuropsychological evaluation, also called neuropsychological testing, is an in-depth assessment of skills and abilities associated with brain functioning. Aspects of cognitive functioning that are assessed typically include orientation, learning/memory, intelligence, language, visuoperception, sensory/motor abilities, and executive function, as are sensory motor skills. The evaluation will explore your cognitive strengths and vulnerabilities through the use of interview, paper-and-pencil, computerized, and interactional tasks. Measures of psychological, personality, and emotional functioning may also be included.
